On an event’s Registrations tab, find attendees, add or edit registrations, remove people from the event, resend confirmation email, and check in from the list. Day-of check-in surfaces and paid refunds have their own articles.
Use the event Registrations tab in the Chapter Dashboard to manage who is on the attendee list for a published event. This article covers search, add/edit, remove, resend email, and check-in from the list. Configure ticket types on Details first; attendees register themselves from the event page.
- Registrations tab — Chapter Dashboard → Events → open the event → Registrations.
- Add registration — manually add one person (not available on draft or canceled events).
- Delete — remove someone from this event. It does not remove them from the chapter and does not refund paid orders.
Note: Team members with check-in-only permissions cannot use the full Registrations tab. They check people in from Check-in attendees in the profile menu or the Bevy Organizer App. See How to use the Bevy Organizer App.
Open the Registrations tab
- In the Chapter Dashboard, open the event.
- Select the Registrations tab.
Use Search to find people by name or email. The list is paginated (25 per page). Toolbar actions sit with search: Download, Bulk upload (when available), and Add registration.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Name | First and last name. May show a registration-source indicator (for example, order vs manually added). |
| Registration email. Organizers cannot change it from Edit (attendees update email in their profile). | |
| Ticket title | RSVP or ticket type title on the order. |
| Ticket venue | Virtual or in-person venue for that ticket type (hybrid events). |
| Registration date | When the person was registered. |
| Price | Amount paid (and currency) for that registration. |
| Check in | Checkbox to mark or clear check-in from this list. |
| Cohost group | Appears when event cohosting is enabled for your community. |
From Download, choose Download PDF or Download CSV for the attendee export.
Guest accounts vs members
Everyone on the Registrations list is an event registrant. Manually adding someone creates or links a guest user account for that email when needed — it does not add them as a chapter member. Members who registered themselves appear in the same list.
| Situation | What organizers do here | What attendees do |
|---|---|---|
| Someone needs to be on the list | Add registration (creates or links a guest user account for the email; does not join the chapter) | Register or RSVP from the event page |
| Cancel a free RSVP | Row actions → Delete (removes from the event only) | Un-RSVP from My tickets / the event page when available |
| Many people after the event | Bulk upload CSV on completed events | N/A |
| Sold-out ticket waitlist | Event Waitlist tab (not this list) | Join waitlist from the event page |
Add a registration
Add people one at a time before or after the event starts. Add registration is disabled on draft and canceled events.
- On the Registrations tab, select Add registration.
- Enter First name, Last name (when your community uses separate name fields), and Email.
- For RSVP-only event types, select a Ticket (RSVP type) when more than one exists. For paid (free or paid ticket) events, you cannot assign a ticket type or charge a purchase from this modal — those attendees register through checkout on the event page.
- Optionally select Check-in and/or Send event email (on by default).
- When shown, accept the consent checkbox (guest account terms and privacy). Select Save.
Tip: After an event has ended, import many people at once with Bulk upload. See Bulk upload attendees. For live events, keep using Add registration one at a time, or manage sold-out inventory from the Waitlist tab.
Edit a registrant
- In the row, select Edit.
- Update first name, last name, and check-in as needed. Email is display-only — the attendee changes email in their profile.
- Ticket type is display-only when you edit. Select Save.
Success shows a Registrant updated confirmation.
Remove a registration
Deleting removes the person from this event only. It does not delete their user account or chapter membership. For a paid ticket, delete does not refund the order.
- Open the row’s actions menu (ellipsis).
- Select Delete.
Attendees cancel their own free RSVP with Un-RSVP when that option is available — see Manage tickets and Un-RSVP.
Resend event email
- Open the row’s actions menu.
- Select Resend event email.
- Confirm the recipient (use the attendee’s email, or enter another address when allowed). Select Send.
Important: When Join Magic Links are enabled for the community and the event is virtual or hybrid, you cannot change the recipient address. See About Join Magic Links.
Check in from Registrations
On the Registrations list, select or clear the Check in checkbox on a row. The last check-in state is what reports and analytics use — Bevy does not keep a history of every toggle.
Other day-of options: Check-in attendees in the profile menu (search and toggle without using the full Registrations tab), and the Bevy Organizer App for mobile or QR check-in. Virtual events that use Bevy Virtual or an external join URL can check attendees in automatically when they join in the event window. Details for the Organizer App: How to use the Bevy Organizer App.
Refund a paid order
When Bevy Pay refunds are enabled for your community, and you have permission, row actions can include Refund total order for paid registrations with an amount greater than zero. Refunds are not available for RSVP-only or external ticketing, and deleting a registration does not refund. Contact your Customer Success Manager if you need refunds enabled.
