Open an event in the Chapter Dashboard to edit Details, preview the public page, manage registrations, open Page Builder when your role allows, review Analytics on published events, and use Recordings or Tracking when those tabs are available.
After you create an event, use the Event Dashboard in the Chapter Dashboard to change setup, preview the public page, manage who registered, and open other event tabs. Deep field guidance for description, banner, and thumbnail lives in a separate Event Content article; this article is the hub for opening the event and the most common management tasks.
Note: You can edit draft and published events from the hosting chapter. Some tabs appear only in certain states — for example, Analytics after the event is published, and Wrap up after the event is completed. Page Builder appears when the event page builder is enabled for the community and your chapter role includes permission to modify chapter and event Page Builder. Cohost chapters may only see Registrations.
Open an event
- In the Chapter Dashboard, select Events in the left sidebar.
- Open the event you want to manage. The dashboard opens on Overview by default.
- Use the event tabs to move between Overview, Details, Page Builder (when available), Registrations, Analytics (published events), and other areas available for your event.
| Tab | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Overview | Default landing page for the event in the dashboard |
| Details | Title, description, short description, banner, thumbnail, dates, venue, tickets, and other event setup fields |
| Page Builder | Rearrange layouts and components on the public event page when your chapter role includes permission to modify chapter and event Page Builder — see Edit the public event page layout |
| Registrations | View attendees, check in, add registrations, download PDF/CSV, resend event email, or delete a registration |
| Analytics | Registration and attendance for this event (and virtual engagement when relevant). Appears only after the event is published — see Review event analytics |
| Recordings | Download and manage native Bevy session and stage recordings (see Manage event recordings) |
| Tracking | Facebook Pixel and Salesforce campaign fields when enabled for your community |
Edit and publish from Details
Select the Details tab to change event setup. For title, description, short description, Event banner, and Event thumbnail, see Add event description, banner, and images. For dates, venue, tickets, tags, and other configuration fields, see Create and configure events.
- Open the event, then select Details.
- Update the fields you need.
- Select Save draft to keep changes without publishing, or Publish to make them live.
When you publish changes that should notify registered attendees, Bevy may ask Event published. Send updates? Choose Send to notify attendees, or Don’t send to skip the update email.
Tip: Save draft before you use View page so the preview reflects your latest changes.
Open Page Builder
When your chapter role includes permission to modify chapter and event Page Builder, select Page Builder in the event tab row to rearrange layouts or place components on this event’s public page. For when to use Details vs Page Builder — and the role gate — start with Edit the public event page layout. For enablement, default template, one-off pages, preview, and save, see About the event page builder.
- Open the event in the Chapter Dashboard.
- Select Page Builder.
- Edit the canvas, then select Save when you are ready.
Note: If you do not see Page Builder, ask a chapter team member who can assign roles — or your HQ admin — whether the event page builder is enabled and whether your role includes that permission. See Chapter Team Members.
Preview the event page
- Open the event in the Chapter Dashboard.
- If you made changes on Details, select Save draft.
- At the top of the Event Dashboard, select View page. The public event page opens in a new tab.
- Review the page, return to the dashboard, and finish any edits before you publish.
Tip: For tickets to appear while you preview a draft event, set the ticket sales start to a future date and time.
Manage registrations
Select the Registrations tab to work with people who registered for the event.
- View registrants: Review name, ticket, venue (when relevant), and registration date.
- Check in: Mark a registrant as checked in from the list. See Check-in attendees.
- Per-registrant actions: Open the menu next to a registrant to Delete them or Resend event email.
- Download: Use Download to export PDF (useful for in-person check-in lists) or CSV (more columns than the on-screen list).
- Add registration: Select Add registration, enter first name, last name, and email, choose a ticket type, optionally mark checked in, and send the ticket confirmation email when available.
Note: After an event is completed, organizers may also see bulk CSV upload options on Registrations for past-attendee workflows. See Bulk upload event attendees.
Review Analytics
On a published event, select the Analytics tab to review registration and attendance for that event. Hybrid and virtual events can also show online engagement.
- Open the published event in the Chapter Dashboard.
- Select Analytics in the event tab row.
- Review the dashboard for that event.
For when to open which dashboard and what to check after check-in or wrap-up, see Review event analytics. For KPI tiles, filters, drill-downs, downloads, and virtual engagement reports in Report Center, see Event Analytics. For chapter-wide event trends, open chapter Analytics and the Events tab (Chapter Analytics).
Note: Draft events do not show the Analytics tab. If you do not see Analytics on a published event, ask a chapter team member who can assign roles whether your role includes access to event analytics.
Recordings
Select the Recordings tab on the hosting chapter’s Event Dashboard to see native Bevy recordings for the event (name, time, size) and download files after processing finishes.
For transcripts, summaries, Media Library, and delete workflows, see Manage event recordings.
Tracking
When Tracking is enabled for your community, select the Tracking tab to configure Facebook Pixel and Salesforce fields for the event.
- Facebook: Facebook Pixel ID (when Facebook Pixel is enabled in event creation settings).
- Salesforce: Depending on your instance switches, you may see Salesforce campaign ID and type, Salesforce campaign name, Salesforce parent campaign name, and CPE credit value.
Note: The Tracking tab appears only when Facebook Pixel and/or Salesforce tracking fields are enabled for your community. If you do not see Tracking, ask your HQ admin whether those integrations are turned on.
