Open Page builder under Settings to change the public page for the chapter you have open. You need a chapter team role with page builder permissions. Use this page to choose that chapter, one event, or the default template. Chapter Page Builder explains how a saved page and the default template work together.
Use Page builder under Settings when you want to change the public page for the chapter you have open. Pick the surface that matches the question, then open the linked article for the steps.
| Question | Open | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| I need to change this chapter's public page. | Chapter Dashboard → Settings → Page builder | The editor for that chapter, when your team role includes page builder permissions. How a saved page and the default template work together is in Chapter Page Builder. |
| I need to change one event's public page. | That event → Page builder | The layout for that event. The same team role with page builder permissions is required. See Edit the public event page layout. |
| I need every chapter to start from the same layout. | Your HQ admin team | The default chapter template. See Chapter Page Builder. |
Note: Page builder appears under Settings, and on an event, only when your chapter team role includes page builder permissions. That role must be able to add, edit, and delete the chapter page. If you do not see Page builder, ask your HQ admin who assigns chapter team roles. (See Chapter Team Members and About role management and permissions.)
Open the chapter page editor
- Open the Chapter Dashboard for the chapter whose public page you want to change.
- In the left navigation, select Settings.
- In the settings tab row, select Page builder.
The editor opens for that chapter. For the other settings tabs, see Edit chapter settings.
Tip: For what you can place on the canvas, see About chapter page builder layouts, elements, and components. For when a block shows, see Display rules for the chapter page builder. For look and spacing, see About chapter page builder styles.
What you will see
The editor shows this chapter's page on a canvas. A save updates this chapter. It does not replace the default template other chapters use. After a save, View live page opens the published chapter page.
