Learn what each prebuilt component in the event page builder shows, where its content comes from, and which settings you can change.
Components — prebuilt blocks that fill themselves in with your event's content, such as the people, sponsors, and tickets you set up in the event dashboard. You add them from the Components section of the Add to canvas panel.
You don't type a component's content on the canvas. You update it at the source, and the event page picks up the change.
While you edit, a component with no content yet shows a placeholder message, such as “Event sponsors will populate here after your event is published.” On the live page, a component with nothing to show is hidden.

People
The People component shows a card for each person taking part in the event, grouped into one section per person type.

Each card shows the person's photo, name, company, and title. A card can also show:
- An X icon when the person has an X handle, and a LinkedIn icon when they have a LinkedIn profile.
- A See bio button when the person has a bio or a profile page. Visitors can page through the bios of everyone in the component.
In the settings panel, Select a person type controls who appears:
- Show all people types (default) — a section for every person type that has people, in this order: speakers, mentors, facilitators, panelists, judges, moderators, hosts, organizers, and featured attendees.
- A single person type — only that section. To show a few types in your own order, add one People component per type.
Person types use your community's own terms. For example, if your community calls speakers “presenters,” the list shows Presenters. On the live page, only person types with people assigned appear.
Sponsors
The Sponsors component shows the organizations supporting your event, in up to three groups:
- Global sponsor — a sponsor your community shows across events.
- Local sponsor — a sponsor added to this event. If you use sponsor tiers, sponsors are grouped by tier, in tier order.
- Partner — a media partner added to this event.
Only sponsors set to visible appear. Group headings use your community's own terms for sponsors and partners.
Agenda
The Agenda component shows when and where the event happens, followed by its agenda:
- When — the event date and time.
- Where — the venue name and address, with a map if the event shows one. Where doesn't appear for virtual events.
- Agenda — the event's agenda items, shown in each visitor's own time zone.
If the event has no agenda, only When and Where appear. For multi-day events, the component shows the full schedule with a note that times are displayed in the visitor's time zone. If the agenda is hidden in the event's settings, the component doesn't appear.
Tickets
The Tickets component is the registration widget, where visitors choose a ticket and register for the event.
You can add Tickets only once per page. After it's on the canvas, the Duplicate control is hidden for it.
Image gallery
The Image gallery component shows the photos added on the event's Wrap Up tab in the event dashboard. The Wrap Up tab appears after the event ends, so the gallery stays hidden on the live page until you add photos there.
Slideshare
The Slideshare component embeds a slide presentation on the event page. In the settings panel, Source controls which presentation appears:
- Featured Slideshare presentation (default) — the presentation added on the event's Wrap Up tab.
- External slideshare link — a presentation you choose. Enter its Slideshare shortcode, for example [slideshare id=123456789]. If the shortcode isn't valid, you see an error and the presentation doesn't change.
How components are styled
The cards and widgets inside a component follow your community's style settings, such as heading, card, and button colors. You can't style them one by one in the page builder.
