Send a direct message (DM)
Within the event, you can send a DM to another attendee from the attendee list:
-
Select the Participants tab at the bottom.
-
Locate the name of the attendee you want to DM on the top-right-corner window
-
Click the Three-dots more button to the right of the person’s name.
-
Click Send direct message (DM).
- You can then start typing in questions in the lower-right-corner DM window.
Your DMs are saved from one event to the next, so you will be able to reconnect with the people you meet by returning to the DMs window.
Ask questions: Q&A
With the Q&A feature enabled by the host/moderator, use the Q&A tab to ask questions to the presenters. This keeps questions separate from general chat. Beyond posing questions, attendees can upvote and sort them.
General Q&A
To ask a question:
-
Go to the Q&A window by clicking Q&A tab at the bottom.
- Type your question, and then send it.
To upvote a question:
-
Click the thumbs-up image to the right of the attendee's name who asked.
-
Clicking it again removes your vote.
To sort questions:
-
When there is more than one question with upvotes under Q&A, click the Sort button to sort by New or Most voted questions.
-
For each new vote, click the Sort button again to refresh the order.
Once 100 unanswered questions accumulate, new questions can't be asked. This limit resets when the number of unanswered questions drops below 90.
