If you already have a community account but cannot sign in, check the email and community site, try password reset or the sign-in method you used before (password, SSO, or social), and contact Bevy Support when you need duplicate accounts merged.
Each Bevy community has its own member accounts. An email that works on one community site may not have an account on another. Use this page when you believe you already have an account on this community but cannot sign in.
| What you notice | What to try next |
|---|---|
| Login rejects your email or password | Confirm the community URL and email spelling, then reset your Bevy password if you use email and password |
| You normally use SSO or a social button | Use that same button (or the automatic SSO redirect). Reset the password at the provider, not on Bevy |
| Password reset email never arrives | Check Spam and other folders; confirm the email has an account on this community; see the checklist below |
| You have more than one account or email | Contact Bevy Support to request an account merge — members cannot merge accounts themselves |
| Login says your account has been locked | Contact Bevy Support for assistance |
Note: Wrong password and unknown email often show the same message: The email address and/or password you specified are not correct. That does not always mean you mistyped the password — the email may not have an account on this community yet.
Check the basics
- Open the correct community site (the same URL where you joined or registered for events).
- On Log In, re-enter your email and password carefully — watch for typos, autofill of an old password, and Caps Lock.
- If the Login page shows an SSO or social button (for example your company name or Google), and that is how you signed in before, use that button instead of the email and password form. On communities that require SSO, you may be redirected to your organization or provider sign-in page automatically. For password guidance when you use SSO, see Reset a password.
Tip: If you previously used social sign-in, use the same social button every time. Switching between social and a different email can create a second account.
Confirm you have an account for that email
Password reset and login only work for an email that already has an account on this community.
- Open Sign up (or Create account) on the same community.
- Enter the email you are trying to use and continue far enough for the form to validate the address.
- If you see a message such as An account with this email address already exists (or This email address is already registered), an account exists — go back to Login or use Reset a password.
- If sign-up does not say the email already exists, this community does not have an account for that address yet. Create one with Create a new account, or try another email you may have used when you joined or bought tickets.
If an organizer already added your email (for example as an event attendee) but you never finished sign-up, you may be a prospective user. Completing sign-up or SSO with that same email can activate the account. See About prospective users.
Reset your Bevy password
If you sign in with email and password (not SSO-only), reset the password for the email that owns the account.
- On Login, select Reset password (some communities label this Forgot password?), or open
/accounts/password/reset/on the community site. - Enter that email and select Reset my password.
- Follow the steps in Reset a password.
After you submit, the site typically shows a Check your email confirmation such as: if an account with that email exists, a reset link was sent. It does not tell you whether the email is registered.
Important: On communities that require SSO, change or reset your password with your company or identity provider. Bevy’s Reset password page may still be reachable, but it does not change an SSO or social-provider password.
If the password reset email does not arrive
- Confirm there are no typos in the email you submitted, then try again.
- Check Spam, Junk, Promotions, Social, and Updates folders (and any quarantine your employer uses).
- Wait a few minutes; delivery can be delayed.
- Confirm the email has an account on this community (use the sign-up check above). Reset mail is not sent when there is no matching account.
- If you still receive nothing and the email is registered, contact community support or Contact Bevy Support (the confirmation page also points to help.bevy.com).
Ask Bevy Support to merge accounts
You cannot merge two member accounts yourself. If you ended up with more than one account — for example different emails, or a social login plus a separate email/password account — and you need tickets, chapter membership, or history on one login, contact Bevy Support.
- Open Contact Bevy Support and select Submit a request.
- Choose a request type such as Issue, question, or request regarding Bevy products.
- Explain that you need accounts merged. Include:
- The community site URL
- Every email address tied to the accounts
- Which email should remain as the primary login
- Any event, ticket, or chapter details that help Support identify the right profiles
- Submit the request and watch for the acknowledgment email. Reply in the ticket if Support asks for more detail.
Note: The Bevy Help Center login is separate from your community (Dashboard) login. You can submit a Support request with only an email address; signing in to the Help Center is optional but makes it easier to track the ticket.
When to contact community support vs Bevy Support
| Situation | Who to contact |
|---|---|
| You need access to a specific chapter event, invite, or organizer-managed registration | Your chapter or community organizers (they know local membership and event rules) |
| SSO or company login fails at the identity provider | Your IT or identity-provider help desk; community admins if your access to the Bevy app was never granted |
| You need duplicate community accounts merged, reset email never arrives for a registered address, or Login says your account is locked | Bevy Support via the Help Center request form |
