When the Tracking tab appears on an event, enter Meta Pixel and/or Salesforce campaign values for that event, then Save. The tab only shows when your community has Facebook Pixel and/or Salesforce event tracking enabled — HQ must turn those on before organizers see the fields.
Use the event Tracking tab to attach Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Salesforce campaign values to a single event. Opening the Event Dashboard and finding tabs is covered in Manage and edit an event. Connecting Salesforce for the community is covered in Salesforce integration - Connect Bevy to Salesforce — this article only covers the per-event Tracking fields.
| Section | Fields you may see | When they appear |
|---|---|---|
| Meta Pixel ID (numbers only) and optional Meta Pixel Conversions API access token | When your community allows Facebook/Meta Pixel on events | |
| Salesforce (standard) | Salesforce campaign ID, Salesforce campaign type, and Salesforce campaign name | When standard Salesforce event tracking fields are enabled for your community |
| Salesforce (parent campaign) | Salesforce campaign name (required), Salesforce parent campaign name (required), and optional CPE credit value (whole number). Campaign ID and type are hidden in this layout. | When parent-campaign Salesforce fields are enabled for your community |
Note: If you do not see a Tracking tab, Facebook/Meta Pixel and Salesforce event tracking are not enabled for your community. Ask an HQ admin, Bevy Support, or your Customer Success Manager. For other HQ-gated create options (event types, tickets, tags), see What HQ must enable first.
Open Tracking on an event
- In the Chapter Dashboard, open Events and select the event.
- Select the Tracking tab.
- Complete the Facebook and/or Salesforce fields that appear for your community.
- Select Save. A success message confirms Event tracking saved.
Tip: You only see the sections your community has enabled. Some communities show Facebook only, Salesforce only, or both. Leave unused fields blank if your team does not use that integration for the event.
Set Meta (Facebook) Pixel fields
When the Facebook section appears:
- Enter the Meta Pixel ID — digits only (same ID you use in Meta Events Manager).
- Optionally enter the Meta Pixel Conversions API access token if your community sends Conversions API events from Bevy (for example, purchase-related events). Leave it blank if you only use the browser pixel.
- Select Save.
Note: The section label is Facebook; the field labels use Meta Pixel. Both refer to the same Meta/Facebook pixel for this event.
Set Salesforce campaign fields
When the Salesforce section appears, enter the campaign values your Salesforce team uses for this event. Field names match the dashboard labels.
- Standard layout: Salesforce campaign ID, Salesforce campaign type, and Salesforce campaign name.
- Parent-campaign layout: Salesforce campaign name and Salesforce parent campaign name are required. You may also enter CPE credit value as a whole number. Campaign ID and type do not appear in this layout.
Important: On the parent-campaign layout, after the event is Published, Salesforce campaign name and Salesforce parent campaign name lock if they already have a value. Enter the correct names before you publish. If a published event already has the wrong locked value, contact Bevy Support or your Customer Success Manager — organizers and HQ admins cannot unlock those fields on the Tracking tab.
Connecting or reconnecting Salesforce for the community is not done on this tab — see Salesforce integration - Connect Bevy to Salesforce.
If Tracking is missing or Save fails
- No Tracking tab — Facebook/Meta Pixel and Salesforce event tracking are off for the community. Ask HQ or your Customer Success Manager; this is separate from event types and tickets in What HQ must enable first.
- Meta Pixel ID validation — enter digits only.
- Required Salesforce fields — on the parent-campaign layout, campaign name and parent campaign name must be filled before Save.
- Locked Salesforce names after publish — contact Bevy Support or your Customer Success Manager. Organizers and HQ admins cannot edit locked campaign name or parent campaign name on a published event from the Tracking tab.
