This article explains what to do if you click the End Event for All button by accident, or before you want the event to end.
When you click the End Event for All button and the event ends, attendees can no longer enter the event, even if they have host permissions. While you can't un-end an event, you can recreate the event and share the new link with the attendees. When you recreate an event and attendees join the new event, you can continue the event experience.
To recreate the event:
- In your Chapter Dashboard, go to Events.
- Click the Completed tab.
- Find the event that ended, and open the menu for that event.
- Click Copy Event.
- Publish the event, and then share the new event link with attendees.
One way to share the new event link with attendees is by email. Send a new email to people with tickets to the old event and include a link to the new event.
