A quick map of Bevy Virtual Meetup roles and what each role can do in a session.
Understand the roles
Bevy Virtual Meetup features depend on your role in the session. All chapter team members join as hosts. Hosts can promote an attendee to moderator during the session. Moderators do not get chapter or admin dashboard access. Presenters get camera, microphone, and screen share access once presenter mode is enabled.
Within the Bevy Virtual Meetup experience, different features are available depending on the registered user's role.
Join a session
Attendees RSVP, then select Join on the event page starting 15 minutes before the start time.
Hosts and chapter team members can join earlier using the Virtual join link for hosts, the calendar invite, or the ticket confirmation email. Learn more: About accessing Bevy Virtual Meetup .
Hosts and moderators can promote attendees to moderator or presenter during the session.
