Setup in Bevy

Perform the following steps to enable this integration in the Bevy dashboard.

• In the Admin dashboard, select Settings from the left-hand sidebar menu.
• Go to the Integrations tab.
• Turn on the Connect toggle for the Slack.
• Add the Slack account to import Bevy data into, and then authenticate the integration.
• Select a channel from the drop-down list for Events (Events Slack Channel). The corresponding Slack messages are displayed here.
• Select a channel for Attendee related messages (Attendee Slack Channel). It may be the same channel that was selected for Events.
• Save the integration. You should start seeing incoming data as events are published in Bevy.

To disable the integration, turn off the Connect toggle.

Data types setup

• Message when an event in Bevy is published (to Events Slack Channel)
• Message when an event in Bevy is cancelled (to Events Slack Channel)
• Message when an event registration is placed (to Attendee Slack Channel)
• Message when an event registration is cancelled (Attendee Slack Channel)

Note that the content and format of the message can't be changed for now.

Channel message when an event in Bevy is published

A message is automatically posted in the specified Slack channel when a new event is published in Bevy.

The message includes the following information:

• Event Name
• Location
• Event Date
• Chapter Name
• Event Description
• Event URL

Channel message when an event in Bevy is cancelled

A message is automatically posted in the specified Slack channel when an event is cancelled in Bevy. The message includes the following information:

• Event Name:
• Location:
• Event Date:
• Chapter Name:
• Event Description:
• Event URL:

Channel message when an event registration is placed

A message is automatically posted in the specified Slack channel as soon as a registration is placed for an upcoming event. The message includes the following information:

• Event
• Full Name
• Ticket Type
• Email

Channel message when an event registration is cancelled

A message is automatically posted in the specified Slack channel as soon as a registration is placed for an upcoming event. The message includes the following information:

• Event
• Full Name
• Ticket Type
• Email
