Slack integration - Introduction

The Bevy to Slack integration is one-way, posting messages in Slack when an event is either published or deleted, and when attendees either register for an event or cancel their registration.​

How does this work?

The integration between Bevy and Slack is a one-way process, wherein messages are sent to Slack upon publication or deletion of an event, and when attendees register for an event or cancel their registration. A new message is automatically pushed to the specified Slack channel.

Please note the next restrictions to sending a message.

  • Draft events are not sent.
  • Hidden events are sent.
  • Events hosted in inactive chapters are sent.
  • Events hosted in test chapters are sent.
