This article outlines the event wrap up tab and what details you can add to completed events.
To wrap up an event page:
- From the Chapter Dashboard, click Events from the left sidebar.
- Click the event you want to manage under the Completed tab.
- Click the Wrap Up tab.
- From this tab, you can add a featured video (YouTube, Vimeo, or Vidyard links), Slideshare documents, and photos. Once you upload and save, these items will be added to the past event page.
The Wrap up tab will only be displayed in the Event Dashboard when the end event date has passed.
Featured video
You can use the video services: YouTube, Vimeo or Vidyard to host the wrap-up video. Only one video link can be added in the wrap-up section. It is worth noting that the event recordings are not automatically upload to the video services, you need to edit/upload them in the platform of your choice.
Here are examples of how to format video links depending on the video hosting site:
YouTube |
|
Vimeo |
|
Vidyard |
|
If after adding the video link, it shows “Video unavailable”, please check to see if the video has copyrighted music or a claim. Learn more here.
The Slideshare document will render in the event page wrap if there's one Video element configured with the wrap-up video added in Page Builder. More information in Elements — Event Page Builder
Featured Slideshare
Slideshare is a popular online platform for creating and sharing slide presentations, documents, and infographics.
To share the Slideshare documents on the event's wrap-up page, use the short-code number or the Slideshare URL
- If the URL is with the format
https://www.slideshare.net/slideshows/my-awesome-slides/123456789
, the number at the end is the slideshare_id, so you need to us [slideshare id=123456789]
- If the URL contains the user who published the slides, then you can use it directly. Example:
https://www.slideshare.net/user1/my-awesome-slides
.
The content must be set to public in Slideshare.
The Slideshare document will render in the event page wrap if the "Slideshare" component is added in Page Builder. More information in Components — Event Page Builder
Pictures
It is recommended that the upload images have an aspect ratio of 3:2 for better visualization. It is possible to upload images with different aspect ratios, but they will appear truncated in the thumbnail. On the other hand, they will be rendered correctly in when clicked to enlarge.
These images will appear in the event page wrap if the "Image Gallery" is added in Page Builder. More information in Components — Event Page Builder
