Plan Bevy Virtual Conference room capacity: up to seven stages, session formats with different attendee ceilings, networking tables from 2 to 1,000 people, and a Q&A hold at 300 unanswered questions.
These limits apply to Bevy Virtual Conference agenda rooms: stages, sessions, booths, and networking tables. They are separate from ticket-sales or venue-capacity settings on the event. Bevy Virtual Meetup uses different defaults (typically up to 1,000 people in one room).

Note: A People-tab Speaker listing does not grant microphone, camera, or screen share. Live presenter rights come from chapter host permission or from Participants → Actions in the room. See Roles and permissions in Bevy Virtual Conference.
Stage
- You can add up to seven stages in the Conference agenda. The Add stage control disables after the seventh stage.
- Stage audiences are listen-only for the broadcast. Attendee count is not capped in the agenda the way a Many-to-Many session is.
- Presenters prepare in Backstage, then a host or moderator broadcasts to the stage. Presenter mode and broadcast controls are separate. See About backstage in Bevy Virtual Conference.
Tip: Keep the number of people with camera and mic on modest during a large broadcast. Too many simultaneous publishers hurts quality for everyone watching.
Sessions
You can run as many sessions as you need at once. Capacity depends on the session format you pick in Agenda Builder under Select session format:

Presenters are people with live microphone, camera, or screen share in the room. Speakers on the People tab or agenda are public listings only. There is no fixed product table that reduces maximum viewers as you add each presenter (that OpenTok-era table is obsolete after the move to Daily).
- For interactive sessions where most people turn video on, stay well under the Many-to-Many ceiling — about 50 people is a practical target when everyone participates on camera.
- If you have many speakers, split them across overlapping sessions, or rotate who has Presenter mode so fewer people publish at once.
- Breakout rooms do not raise the parent session’s capacity. See Manage breakout rooms.
Important: Agenda Builder still shows a “5,000” label on Standard sessions from an older video provider. Do not treat that label as a guaranteed Daily ceiling. Use Webinar format for large listen-only audiences, and confirm large-room plans with Bevy Support if you expect thousands of concurrent viewers.
Networking
- There is no limit on how many networking tables you can schedule at once.
- On the Networking tab in Agenda Builder, set Maximum number of attendees from 2 to 1,000. That value is the hard capacity for the table.
- People who join a table are auto-promoted to presenter mode until the table reaches that maximum. After the table is full, additional joins are refused at the room capacity.
Tip: Smaller tables (for example 6–12) work better for conversation. Use the maximum only when you truly need a large open table.
Booths
- There is no limit on how many booths you can run at once.
- Live booth capacity follows the same few-to-many vs interactive patterns as sessions. Pre-recorded booths do not use live presenter and viewer counts.
Q&A
- A session can have up to 300 unanswered questions at once.
- When that limit is reached, attendees cannot ask new questions and see “There are too many unanswered questions.”
- Asking is available again after the unanswered count drops to 295 or below — after hosts answer, dismiss, or otherwise clear at least five questions.
