Bevy publishes public RSS feeds of upcoming events and discussion topics. There is no switch to turn a feed on. Paste the URL into a reader, aggregator, or newsletter tool.
Before you start
An RSS feed lets an outside tool read public Bevy content. A reader, an aggregator, or a newsletter product subscribes by URL. Bevy does not email the feed, and there is no Admin Dashboard control for it.
The feed is already on for content an anonymous visitor can see. You do not enable it, and you do not sign in to read it. There is no per-person feed.
The address /feed/ opens the discussions page inside Bevy. The syndication address is /rss/.
Embed It places outside content on a chapter page. RSS sends Bevy content to an outside reader. See Introduction and Overview — Embed It for Chapter Pages.
Choose a feed

Both feeds are RSS 2.0. Each item has a title, a link back to the event or topic on your site, and a short plain-text summary. A new item can take a few minutes to appear.
The list is newest first, and it stops at 20 items. For an event, newest means when the event was created. For a topic, newest means the latest reply, so an older topic with a new reply can sit above a topic that was just opened.
Use the site feed
Copy this URL. Replace the host with your community’s public address:
https://community.example.com/rss/
The channel title is your site title. The feed mixes upcoming public events and recent public forum topics from across the community.
Use a forum feed
A forum feed returns topics from one forum. It does not include events. The channel title is the forum name followed by your site title, so a reader can tell this feed from the site feed.
- Open the forum in your browser.
- Read the address. It ends with
/forum/, then the slug, a hyphen, and a number. In/forum/product-market-fit-16182/, drop the hyphen and the number at the end. The slug isproduct-market-fit. - Paste the slug into the feed URL:
https://community.example.com/rss/forum/product-market-fit/.
Use your own site host and the slug from the forum you opened. The number at the end of the forum address is not part of the feed URL.
The forum feed is keyed by that slug. If the slug changes, for example after the forum is renamed, the old URL stops updating. Copy the new URL into the reader.
A missing slug, or a forum an anonymous visitor cannot open, returns not found. A private forum is not listed as an empty feed.
What stays out
- Draft events, hidden events, and events whose start time has already passed.
- Events on a private chapter.
- Draft topics, deleted topics, and topics that are not approved.
- Forums an anonymous visitor cannot open, including members-only forums.
- Events on a forum feed. Those stay on the site feed.
Bevy does not pull an outside RSS feed into a page, and there is no page-builder block for these feeds.
Add the URL to a reader
- Copy the site URL or the forum URL.
- In the reader, aggregator, or newsletter tool, choose the control that adds a feed by URL. The label is often Subscribe, Add feed, or Follow.
- Paste the URL and confirm.
The tool stores the subscription. Bevy does not show that subscription in the dashboard. When the tool asks again, it requests the same URL and receives the current 20 items.
