Customizing Global Email Audience
Global emails can be sent to all subscribers of the global email list or to a custom audience/segment from that list.
Depending on the global email you're sending, you might want it to send it to an audience based on member characteristics like chapter membership, their registration status for specific events, or user role.
Use the following query rules to build a custom audience for global emails:
- Chapter: Members of specific chapters
- Event Registration: Member's registration status for specific events
- Team role: Chapter team member roles
- Role: Active or prospective user
- Country: Users whose profile includes a specific country
- City: Users whose profile includes a specific city
- State: Users whose profile includes a specific state (only applicable if this data is collected during account sign up form)
Building a custom audience

Under the Schedule & Send section, select the Custom audience radio button
-
Create a Rule by selecting a rule from the drop down. Multiple rules can be combined using “and” or “or” logic.
- And will pull in members who match all of the rules being used.
-
Or will pull in members who match any of the rules being used.
- For example, I want to email members who registered for the "Global Conference 2024" event, but only belong in either the Silicon Valley or Seattle chapters. I would use the following configuration
