Expand Your Community Events to Non-English-Speakers
Are you looking to expand your community program into non-English-speaking countries? Bevy’s no-charge localization tools can help you reach community members in as many as 17 languages. Refer to our step-by-step guide for adding new languages to your community.
Introducing Page Builder Modals
With our most recent Page Builder release, you can now add modals (pop-up windows) to chapter and event pages! Modals can draw attention to relevant information, such as event tickets, or display related information, such as a speaker bio, without taking the user to a new webpage. You can launch a model using any button or container on Page Builder. Learn more about modals in our quick start guide.
Report Download Center Enhancements
- The chapter list report now has a new column, next event start date. In scenarios where a chapter does not have an upcoming event, a null value appears. With the addition of this new field, HQ admins can easily and quickly assess which chapters need a reminder to create their next event.
- The post-event form responses report has a new event tags filter. HQ Admins can utilize this filter to identify attendee feedback for certain event types quickly.
Fixes
Here are highlights of issues resolved
- Fixed: Event speakers were not displaying in the correct order when the event page was published. When an event is published, speakers on the event page display in the same order as they’re configured on the event dashboard.
- Fixed: The Slideshare component didn’t consistently show on the page after completing the event. This issue was resolved, and the Slideshare content shows on the page after the event organizer adds the corresponding URL in the event dashboard.
- Fixed: When an event’s title was too long, greater than 254 characters, the event page would not load. This was most apparent in event titles utilizing Japanese and Chinese characters, which is resolved.
- Fixed: The text formatting toolbar in the email editor only showed a subset of the available text formatting options. All the available text formatting controls are shown in the email text editor.
- Fixed: Event ticket PDFs that included Chinese, Japanese, and Korean characters were not showing up in the event attendees' PDF tickets. The font used in ticket PDFs was updated to a new font family that supports Chinese, Japanese, and Korean characters.
