    Yes please! With GDPR and all of that, it can make things very difficult. So it would be nice if there was a way to Direct Message someone from your platform.

    We share links or messages during the event, however, before we can even save them the event ends and then we have to wait until the next event to get access to the DM.
    This is just not helpful and at times we forget (human!) to go back and read those messages - cause the next event could be the next day or next week or just not able to attend any.

    I agree with Viraj's comment completely. The whole DM thing always seemed incomplete. I say this because when I joined my first Bevy event, it was cool that I could DM someone (just like in Zoom). However, when I joined my next event and saw that all of my historical DM's were still intact and I could access them from the previous event? It seemed very odd to me. I would have expected to have (unfortunately) lost those DM's. But to have them persist across events, that is why I say that it feels like the functionality is...incomplete.

     

    If anything, I would say that if you add this as functionality that is available to be done outside of an event, then please also look at this functionality from a Chapter Owner/Admin standpoint. Right now, we can only blast out messages to people as a whole entire group. However, it would be super SUPER helpful if we could DM (or better yet, email) someone directly from the Bevy system. This would greatly help the whole GDPR situations that we are running into like I said above as well as make the system just all that much more useful.
