Overview
The new enhancements to the waitlist process streamline attendee management for your events, making it easier and faster to add the right attendees while collecting the necessary information upfront.
Key Changes to the Waitlist Process
The process was prone to delays due to missed emails and inefficient steps.
Previous Process:
- Create an event.
- Attendees RSVP to get onto the waitlist.
- Organizers could only view the first and last names of waitlisted attendees.
- Tickets were released manually, triggering an email to the attendee.
- Attendees needed to confirm their interest via email.
- The organizer then releases the ticket and the user becomes an attendee.
New Process:
- Users fill in RSVP Form + all pre-order questions.
- Organizers can now view complete attendee information (e.g., survey responses) to make informed decisions.
- Tickets can be released directly from the waitlist interface.
- Once released, the attendee is instantly registered, and a confirmation email is sent.
- Confirmation emails include calendar invitations.
- Attendees can cancel their RSVP directly from the email, ensuring better communication and fewer delays.
