Enable global sponsors, then create, activate, deactivate, and remove community-wide sponsor logos from the Admin Dashboard. Global sponsors are separate from chapter-level sponsor and partner profiles.
Use Sponsors in the Admin Dashboard to manage global sponsors — community-wide sponsor profiles whose logos can appear on chapter pages and event pages. These profiles are separate from the chapter-level sponsor and partner lists organizers maintain in the Chapter Dashboard.
Note: The Admin Dashboard Sponsors item appears only when Enable sponsors is turned on. There is no separate Global partners list in the Admin Dashboard. Chapter partners are managed in the Chapter Dashboard.
Enable global sponsors
- In the Admin Dashboard, select Settings in the left sidebar.
- Open General (General Settings).
- Turn on Enable sponsors, then save.
After sponsors are enabled, Sponsors appears in the Admin Dashboard sidebar.
Create a global sponsor
- In the Admin Dashboard, select Sponsors in the left sidebar.
- Select New global sponsor.
- Under General info, enter the company name, optional URL, description (required, up to 500 characters), and optional logo.
- Under To be displayed in chapters, choose Shows on ALL chapters or Shows on specific chapters.
- If you chose specific chapters, search to add each chapter. Optionally enter a different URL for that chapter, or leave the URL blank to use the company URL.
- Complete the required fields under Contact details (internal only). These are for your records only; creating a global sponsor does not create an invoice.
- Select Create sponsor and confirm.
| Field or section | Notes |
|---|---|
| Company name | Required |
| URL | Optional default link when someone selects the logo |
| Description | Required. Up to 500 characters |
| Logo | Optional. Recommended size 700 × 350 pixels. JPG or PNG |
| To be displayed in chapters | Shows on ALL chapters, or specific chapters you search and add. For specific chapters, you can set a per-chapter URL or leave it blank to use the company URL |
| Contact details (internal only) | Required in the create form (billing and contact fields) for your records. Creating a global sponsor does not create an invoice |
Tip: New global sponsors are added as Inactive. Drag a sponsor from Inactive to Active so its logo can appear on chapter and event pages.
Change global sponsor status
On the Global sponsors page, sponsors are grouped into Active and Inactive lists.
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Active | Featured on chapter pages and event pages where global sponsors appear |
| Inactive | Not shown on those pages. New global sponsors start here. Delete is available only for inactive sponsors |
- In the Admin Dashboard, select Sponsors.
- Drag a sponsor logo between Active and Inactive to change its status.
- Drag within Active or within Inactive to change display order.
Remove a global sponsor
- If the sponsor is Active, drag it to Inactive.
- On the inactive logo, select the delete control (X).
- Confirm that you want to delete the global sponsor.
Warning: You can delete a global sponsor only while it is Inactive. Deletion removes it from the Admin Sponsors list.
Where global sponsors appear
- Chapter pages — Active global sponsors that apply to that chapter (all chapters, or the chapters you selected).
- Event pages — Active global sponsors also appear with event sponsors and partners where your site shows them, including the Sponsors component on page builder event pages.
Global sponsors are not added to a chapter’s local sponsor or partner database. If a company also needs to appear as a chapter or event-local sponsor (for example on wrap-up or tiered event placement), add it separately in the Chapter Dashboard Sponsors list, then place it on the event.
Global sponsors FAQ
Do global sponsors show up in the chapter Sponsors search?
No. Global sponsors and chapter sponsors are separate lists. Creating a global sponsor does not add that company to the chapter sponsor database.
What if they are partners, not sponsors?
In the Admin Dashboard, community-wide logos are managed only as global sponsors. Bevy does not offer a Global partner designation there. Use chapter Partners for unpaid or media-partner profiles at the chapter level. Creating a global sponsor does not generate an invoice.
