New Backstage Features for Main stage Events in the new BVC
We’re thrilled to announce two updates that make managing your main stage events within Bevy Virtual Conferences even smoother:
- Live Participant View: You can now see the number of attendees and their details directly from the backstage. This means you’ll always have real-time visibility into who’s engaging with your event, all without leaving your workflow.
- Direct Messaging: Sending direct messages to main stage attendees is now possible straight from the backstage interface. No more navigating through multiple steps to connect—your communications are now streamlined and efficient.
These updates are designed to save you time and enhance your control during live events.
New Dashboard Update
Excited that the new Dashboard has been released to all customers. The default experience is still our legacy Dashboard, but all organizers can now switch to use the new experience. We will be deprecating the legacy organizer Dashboard in the coming months.
We have also released the following updates, bringing us even closer to full parity:
- Chapter Members — New User Profile including which chapters they are a part of as well as see the member count at the top of the Member List page.
- Chapter Sponsors — Chapter level Sponsorship management is live. If you use this feature, you’ll see the new icon on the left sidebar below Chapter Settings. If not, we can turn it on for you.
- Discounts — Create discounts for paid events.
- Chapter Settings — These tabs were added to the Settings page: Chapter Team, Chapter Payments, Chapter Tracking, Chapter Widgets and Chapter Integrations.
- Email Lists — Redesigned mobile-friendly view showing all your email metrics.

Fixes
- An issue with the ticket widget was identified, causing it to appear distorted on different screen sizes, especially on mobile devices. This affected the RSVP experience, making the widget look unclear and disproportionate. The issue was reviewed and addressed to ensure the widget now displays correctly, providing a smooth and visually consistent experience for all users.
- The user deletion process was optimized to increase its speed and efficiency, reducing the time required to complete the task.
- There was an issue identified where clicking "Save Draft" on a global newsletter draft resulted in a "Page Not Found" error, despite the changes being saved. This disrupted the user experience by navigating away from the dashboard unexpectedly. The issue was reviewed and resolved, ensuring that drafts now save correctly without redirecting users away from the page.
- An issue was reported where event survey responses were missing from the downloaded file in the New Dashboard. This has been resolved, and users can now download complete survey response data as expected. Refreshing the page or clearing the cache may help if any issues persist.
- In the new dashboard, email previews were only available for newsletters, whereas triggers didn't have this feature. Previously, both Newsletters and Triggers had preview options in the old dashboard. The email previews for Triggers are now available in the new dashboard as expected.
