As an event organizer, gathering feedback from your attendees and organizers is crucial for improving the experience and driving future success. The Surveys feature in the event management platform provides a powerful tool to collect this valuable information.
Understanding the Survey Types
The Surveys section offers three distinct survey types to capture feedback at different stages of your event:
1. Pre-order: This survey is presented to attendees when they RSVP or purchase tickets for your event. It allows you to gather insights and expectations from your audience before the event takes place.
2. Post-event: After the event concludes, this automated email survey is sent out to attendees, enabling you to collect their feedback on the overall experience.
3. Post-Event Team: This survey is designed to capture feedback from the organizers and chapter team members who hosted the event. This helps you understand the team's perspective and identify areas for improvement. The "Copy survey form link" allows you to generate a shareable link to the survey. This link can then be distributed to your target audience, making it easy for them to access and complete the survey.
Post Event Team Survey Access
The "Post Event Team" survey is uniquely designed to allow team members to provide feedback during the event, rather than waiting until after its conclusion. Users with specific administrative permissions can access and complete the survey before the event ends, enabling more immediate and accurate documentation of team experiences. This approach ensures that critical insights and observations are captured while they are still fresh, facilitating more timely and comprehensive event debriefing. Our goal is to support proactive feedback collection that helps teams continuously improve their event planning and execution.
Configuring and Managing Surveys
To access the Surveys section, navigate to the event details page and select the "Surveys" tab. Here, you'll find the following functionality:
- Survey Editing
For each survey type, you can create and customize the survey questions, response fields, and settings. The "Edit" button allows you to modify the survey content and configuration as needed.
- Viewing Survey Responses
The "Responses" button opens a comprehensive view of the survey submissions. You can see detailed information about each respondent.- Downloading Survey Data
The "Download responses" button enables you to export the survey data as a file, allowing you to further analyze the feedback offline or share it with relevant stakeholders. It will download a zipped CSV with the same information you see on the screen.
