This page helps chapter organizers manage members on the community platform. It's the central place to view, manage, edit roles, and remove members, simplifying chapter member management.
Members List
The members list provides chapter organizers with an overview of all members, displaying essential details to facilitate efficient member management. The following information is included for each member:
- Name: The name of the chapter member.
- Email: The email address associated with the member's account.
- Date joined: The date when the member joined the group.
- Events registered: The number of events the member has registered for.
Personal identifiable information (PII) such as email addresses are hidden from chapter team members by default but Admins are able to view PII. Contact Bevy Support to add member PII permissions to team roles.
Chapter Member Management
Chapter organizers can perform several actions on chapter members directly from the Members List, ensuring effective member management:
View Profile
Organizers can access a member's profile page by clicking the view icon, which provides detailed information on their activity, preferences, and group interactions. It includes the following details:
- Personal Information
- Time zone
- Role: refers to whether the user has an active (user), inactive or perspective user role
- Member since: Member chapter join date
- Industry
- Events: The last two events that the member registered for
- Event Registered: Number of events they have registered for in the chapter
- Checked In: Number of event they have checked-in to
- Group events: Number of events that have registered for in the entire community
- Total Spent: The amount of money they have spent for paid event.
- Memberships and Subscriptions: other chapters they have joined and newsletters they have subscribed to
- Socials: social media links
- Interests
Delete Member
Chapter organizers can delete a member to remove them from the chapter member list. Removing from a chapter does not remove them as a user on the website.
Add chapter members
Organizers can add members individually or in bulk to the chapter member list.
Add individual members
Organizers add individual users to the member list by clicking the Add chapter member button on the member dashboard. A modal will appear where the organizer can either search for users or create a new user to add to the chapter.
A new user will have a prospective role until they create a login.
Import Members via CSV
Organizers can bulk add multiple members to a chapter by importing a CSV file. The CSV should be formatted as email, first_name, last_name. An example CSV template is available for download in the Import member popup.
