How will the Bevy HubSpot integration data be transmitted?

How can I test the HubSpot integration?

Once you’ve configured all the integration settings, you can create a few test events and start triggering updates. If possible, we recommend using a HubSpot sandbox to test. You’ll need to update the integration configuration and select your production HubSpot account post-testing.

Is there a view where I can see the field mappings between HubSpot and Bevy?

Yes. You can view the current field mappings via the integration configuration windows.

What permissions/access will Bevy need in HubSpot?

We require a username and password with specific access to modify contacts and marketing events. The names of those scopes in HubSpot are:

• crm.objects.contacts.write

• crm.objects.contacts.read

• crm.schemas.contacts.read

• crm.objects.marketing_events.read

• crm.objects.marketing_events.write

• oauth

Additionally, integration might require additional scopes, based on the custom relations with these objects are set up on the HubSpot side 

Can I alter the timing of this sync?

Currently, we do not support changing this.

What does Bevy do if a contact is pushed, and you find two records with the same email address?

If it finds a contact with an existing email, it will update the contact in HubSpot with the updated information. The contact's data is overwritten with the most current data from Bevy.

For example, if a user is synced with one first name and last name and then later an attendee with the same email (but a different first or last name because they put something different in the form), the contact will be updated to the new first or last name in HubSpot.

Will events in Bevy that I created before connecting the HubSpot integration sync as marketing events?

Any saved edit the event will backfill the data into HubSpot. Until this, attendees for that event will only sync as contacts. They won't be associated with the marketing event, since it wouldn't have existed at the time of sync.

When an event is created in HubSpot, what additional information is sent by the integration?

Are pre-order form registration questions mapped into HubSpot?

Only fields created at the global level can be mapped using the integration. Fields that are added to the global pre-order form or global post-order form can be mapped in the integration using the attendees field mapping screen.

Is there a way to sync Bevy email activity into Hubspot?

Is there a way to see if a contact is a member of a specific chapter in HubSpot?

Not currently.

How do we make Business type, website, and phone number a global field in Bevy and HubSpot so it will be picked up on a creation of the contact record sync?
