Simulcast a live event in Bevy Virtual Meetup

This article explains how to simulcast from a Bevy Virtual Meetup session to any RTMP/RTMPS endpoint such as Facebook, YouTube, or Twitch. 

Simulcast a live event

Only Hosts can simulcast during a live event. Attendees with presenter mode, that are not hosts, can’t simulcast.

  1. In a Bevy Virtual live session, networking tab, or booth, click Simulcast.
  2. Enter the RTMP or RTMPS Stream URL and Stream Key.
  3. Click Simulcast to begin the stream.

Stop simulcasting an event

  1. Click Stop Simulcast.
  2. Click Stop.
    This immediately ends the simulcast.

If the service you are simulcasting to does not accept RTMP Keys, then you need to use a 3rd party tool like Restream.
Did you know? You can also stream to Linkedin Pages, the RTMP URL and Stream Keys and are exposed 1 hour before the event. More info here
