Create a new Bevy Virtual Event

This article outlines the steps for creating a new Bevy Virtual event.

To create a Bevy Virtual event:

1. Create a new event.

2. Select Virtual as the Event Venue. 

3. In the Select virtual event platform field, select Bevy Virtual Meetup.

4. Add the rest of your event details, and then save or publish your event.

You can change existing events to use the new Bevy Virtual Events platform. Even if the event started using an External URL, the permalink accounts for the changing underlying URL, so no notification has to be sent to attendees for the virtual event URL change.
