This article outlines how to manage host controls within a Bevy Virtual Community event.
This is a beta feature. This means that it might not be available to everyone.
Bevy Virtual 2.0 Hosts Overview
All members of the Chapter Team automatically join the conference as a host. Alternatively, hosts can promote other attendees to a moderator role within the virtual experience.
Hosts can:

As a host (or moderator), you can

Mute

Block an attendee from chatting

This will block them for all events across your platform for up to 24 hours

This will give the attendee equal power as what you have

Add other hosts
As a host, you can provision host access to others during the event.

Within the event, click the Participants tab.

Click the drop-down arrow next to the attendee's name.

Click Moderator mode.
Enable presenter mode for yourself
In the current Beta version, hosts always have presenter mode. This will change in later versions.
Enable presenter mode for others
You may enable presenter mode for any attendee that needs audio, video, and screen-sharing controls.

Within the event, click the Participants tab.

Click the drop-down arrow next to the attendee's name.

Click Presenter mode on.
Once an attendee is given presenter mode, they will see a modal asking them to refresh their screen.

After a speaker is done with their session, you will want to turn their presenter mode off so they don't remain in the video grid.

End the event early
As a host, you can end the event before the designated end time.
Ending an event for all is final. Ending a multi-day event early applies to the remaining days of the event.

At the bottom of the event, select the Leave button.
As a host, this opens a menu with the option to end the event or leave the event. -
Select End event for all.
This ends the event for everyone and can't be undone.
Join the event before it starts
After you RSVP, Hosts & Team leads can access BV & BVC events anytime before they start by using Calendar or Email links.
Note: During the Beta period, you are able to join the event early using the Join button based on 2 conditions:

You have Event Page PageBuilder enabled.
