Participant/attendee experience - Bevy Virtual 2.0 Beta

This article outlines the tools and experience available to attendees of a Bevy Virtual event.

This is a beta feature. This means that it might not be available to everyone. 

General Participant/Attendee Experience

Join Experience

After registering and joining the event, You will encounter a “hair check” page where you can ensure your devices are working as expected.

1. Be sure to allow access to your camera and mic.

2. Select “Allow”

Tip: You can join without giving permission. You will get an error message, but you can safely ignore the error message. However, you won’t be able to be a presenter during the event.

Once permissions are allowed

1. Set your display name

2. Select your microphone, speaker, and camera

3. Select “Join event”

General participant/attendee permissions

As an attendee, you can

• Chat

  • Delete your own messages

  • React to other messages

• DM

  • Send direct messages to attendees

• Participants

  • See participants list

  • Direct message them from here

• Q&A

  • Ask questions when Q&A has been enabled by a host or moderator

• Leave

  • Leave the event
